Passion Fruit

The juice from the fruit is often added to food and beverage applications to add aroma thanks to its tart, acidic taste. We are able to offer frozen and aseptic single strength juice (NFC) and juice concentrate, both conventional and organic, from Ecuador, Peru and Vietnam. Our partners, Quicornac have factories in all 3 countries and are considered the world’s largest passionfruit processor. 

The passion fruit grows on a vine mainly in tropical and sub-tropical areas, and produces fruits after a 6 month crop. The two main varieties are Passiflora edulis (purple passionfruit, mainly Southeast Asia such as Vietnam) and Passiflora edulis var. flavicarpa (yellow passionfruit, mainly from South America).
